Love at First Bite...

Tuesday, December 22, 2009
We've seen Harvard tackle Sally lovingly, Run alongside Ruby playfully, kiss Buddy affectionately but never have we seen her look at any dog the way she is looking at Cleo in this picture. Ever since this past weekend when Cleo stayed at Harv's house, we have noticed a sense of admiration blossom for Cleo. If Cleo is sleeping- Harvard is curled up next to her. If Cleo is chasing after a ball- Harvard is right behind her. This is proof that Harvard has impeccable taste as Cleo makes the perfect role model!

It's a Boy!

Sunday, December 20, 2009
Some of you may, or may not, have heard about the newest addition to my family...Fynn. Weighing in at just over 10 pounds, Fynn the eight week old British Bulldog, was brought to our home late last week. Here he has given me a five second head start to snap his photo before lunging at my slipper. So far, he seems to enjoy human fingers and just about any type of food. Although Fynn resides mostly in the country, he will make frequent trips to the city to visit myself, and the rest of the canine crew.

The Perfect Combination

Tuesday, December 15, 2009

For those of you who don't know me, when I am not at the canine loft I am at school studying fashion communications, and as a fashion student, I am constantly struggling to make choices when it comes to choosing fashion over function, or function over fashion. That was until recently anyway, when Murphy and Remy strolled into Daycare wearing these lovely winter sweaters-proving to me, that you can still look good while keeping warm!

Bunny: The Weather Woman

Monday, December 14, 2009

Just last week Roz said to me, "Isn't it amazing how two weeks ago Bunny was in a sundress and now look- everyone is wearing their coats!" and I realize to some people, this may sound like a ridiculous comment however, it is actually the perfect sentence to sum up the state of the season so far because Bunny, and her brother Tux, are the perfect way to gauge the weather. As I am writing this now, Tux is curled up on my lap while Bunny resides in her bed under the desk letting me know that today is going to be another cold one-so don't forget your gloves!

Cleo in the Elements

Friday, December 11, 2009

While most of us hibernate on days like these, Cleo and the rest of the canine crew, frolicked the dog run as though it were a comfortable 10 degrees as opposed to the minus 10 degrees it actually was!

Harv's First Winter!

Thursday, December 10, 2009

Puppy Harvard was having an easy transition from her first Fall into her first Winter, but that all changed once December arrived! In the past two days Harvard has experienced her first snow fall and from what we can tell...she loved it! It may have taken a little getting used to, but since then she has braved the cold weather on a number of occasions. The true reason however, could be because she loves looking like an extra from a Gap Kids commercial-either way, we're happy she's coping!

Pug Love

It must be a fact that no matter who you are, at some point in your life you are bound to fall head over heels in love... with a Pug. Well, at least that is what happened to me! Here is Hogarth and Burgess enjoying an afternoon stroll at the dog run. As you can see they appear to be in their usual cheerful spirits while they take in the great outdoors. What's not to love?

Three's a Crowd?

Not in this case! Harvard, Sally and Mason stay active and keep each other busy by running and play fighting around the canine loft. Harvard usually starts it, and Sally often finishes it, while Mason cleverly supervises from the sidelines. They are a perfect example of how to stay warm for the month of December-that and, how to pull off an over-sized hoodie.

Coco+Wellie=BFF

People always says "Dogs are man's best friend" what they don't always include is dogs are a dog's best friend! Murphy and Remy, Parker and Mason, Harvard and Sally, and most recently I have spotted these two getting cozier as the winter months grow colder!

Poodle Palooza

Layla, Liam, Sacha, Skye, Tatiana, and Natasha out and about at the brickworks. Of course this was a slightly warmer time. Now a days you won't see any of these guys without a jacket!
